11 Feb Self-leveling floor Eunice Horizon – characteristics, price
The self-leveling floor Eunice Horizon is produced on a cement basis. Improvement of the quality and performance properties of the final coating is facilitated by the addition of fine mineral sand as a filler and various chemical additives.
This fast-hardening composition is used to level cement screeds, concrete and other particularly durable surfaces. As a result, getting completely smooth bases, completely ready for further application of decorative, thin-layer and other coatings.
Experts recommend this material in the arrangement of systems known as “warm floor”. In addition, they emphasize that the use of the composition is only advisable on non-deforming gypsum or concrete substrates inside wet or dry rooms.
About properties
180 minutes after the universal self-leveling floor Eunice Horizon was laid, walking is allowed (pedestrian!) on the resulting surface. It turns out even, strong and smooth. Due to the fact that the composition in question belongs to the category of fast-hardening materials, its use can significantly save time spent on repair work. Its application is possible in two ways: manual or mechanized. The components included in the composition, under no circumstances harm the environment and human health.

A little about the performance of work involving the composition
Before using the composition, it is necessary to prepare the base accordingly. It is dried and cleaned of dirt. Showering, as well as loose materials that can cause deformation should be repaired and ideally – reliably strengthened. To reduce moisture absorption and ensure better bonding, the base is treated with a special primer. The level of its heating should not be less than +5 and not more than +30 Celsius.
Preparation of the solution should not cause difficulties. First, water, heated to room temperature, is poured into a container (necessarily clean). Next, we begin to pour the composition into it, not forgetting to stir. What should be the ratio of these two components? Approximately 25 kilograms of the mixture for 6 liters of water. For better mixing, you can use a drill with a nozzle or a mixer. The time it takes to obtain a homogeneous mass without lumps is from 3 to 5 minutes. After a technological pause, mixing is performed again. This will allow the water and the mixture to more fully dissolve into each other. You need to hurry with laying out the solution: you only have 30 minutes.
The next step is to apply the solution to the base in the amount necessary to achieve the required layer thickness. It will take no more than 7 days to dry.
About storage and packaging
Since the composition is packed in paper bags, a dry, cool room can act as a place for their storage. In it, it is necessary to exclude the slightest possibility of contact of bags with wet bases.
