12 Aug Self-leveling floor Osnovit Skorline – characteristics, price
The self-leveling floor Osnovit Skorline is obtained by mixing fractional sand with gypsum, as well as with the addition of additives – modified and chemical. The latter are necessary to reduce the time period during which polymerization occurs and improve the quality of work.
With the participation of the indicated composition, it is possible to form even surfaces in the internal space of the object. The minimum thickness of the created layer is 0.2 cm, the maximum is 10 cm. After the coating has dried, that is, after 2 to 2.5 hours, you can start applying linoleum, parquet, laminate board or ceramic tiles.
Cement-sand and concrete surfaces can serve as the bases recommended by the producer for laying out the composition. Please note: it can be used with weak bases.
Material advantages and properties
The main quality that the self-leveling floor Osnovit T 45 presented on the Russian market has is the ability to quickly dry. Thanks to him, the time for performing work on the formation of the base is significantly reduced. You can walk on it in a couple of hours. Other advantages include:
high degree of spreadability – the mixture is very easily applied to the prepared surface and spreads over it in an even, horizontal layer. In this case, 100% filling of seams, pores, cracks, drops and cracks occurs;
ease of use – in small areas, you can apply the solution manually. On larger ones – in a mechanized way. The main thing is that working with the material does not require special skills and extensive construction experience;
no shrinkage effect – in addition, cracks do not appear on the surface over time;
practicality and economic benefit from use – the first is due to a low consumption rate, and the second is affordable to a wide range of buyers cost. By the way, a twenty-kilogram bag can be purchased for 268-279 rubles.
To perform the decoration, no additional impact (processing) is required. If necessary, the mixture can be combined with systems such as “warm floor”.
With a layer thickness of 0.1 cm, the material consumption is 13 kilograms per square meter.
Special recommendations of the manufacturer
Closing the solution, it is necessary to avoid an overdose of water, otherwise it is possible to reduce strength – and in general quality – the final surface, as well as an increase in the period during which polymerization occurs.
Make sure that the strength of the base on which the solution is laid out (poured) is at least 10 MPa.
When pouring a layer with a thickness of 3 centimeters and a more prerequisite for conducting work is the installation of lighthouses.
The finished solution is required to be used no later than 40 minutes after its preparation. Work needs to be carried out at a temperature of +5 … +30 degrees Celsius.
When the surface dries, provide it with direct sunlight protection. Can be used, for example, polyethylene film.
In the case of the gap with tiles, processing with a primer in two layers is mandatory. This will improve surface and glue adhesion.
